Our Mission

The mission of Communities In Schools is to champion the connection of needed community resources with schools to help young people successfully learn, stay in school, and prepare for life.

The "Five Basics"

CIS works to provide children with five basic life tools:

A one-on-one relationship with a caring adult

A safe place to learn & grow

A healthy start for a healthy future

A marketable skill to use upon graduation

A chance to give back to peers and the community

CIS Happenings

YMCA Middle School After School Program

Due to Parent/Teacher conferences in September, the start of the YMCA MSASP has been postponed until Monday, October 5th.

YMCA Middle School After School Program

The YMCA MSASP will begin on September 21st. There will be no program the following week, due to conferences.

Looking For Volunteers
